I have always been enamored by the angelic nature of the cardinal. Some believe that having a cardinal come to visit is akin to having a loved one who has died return to say hello. That imagery fills me with happiness as I always have a cardinal couple enjoying the seed I put out. Each time I see them I try to take a moment just to say, "Hi, Grandpa and Grandma." Sometimes, it is in the smallest and most beautiful moments that God whispers into our ear, "you will always have your loved ones around."
