We've been working on HS's Bear requirements since the beginning of June. He couldn't wait to open his book and begin a new phase of scouting. This feat and accomplishment at this time is his. He should be proud. I know we are as we watched/participated in his rank ceremony at our November pack meeting with two other fellow bears who had worked hard at completing their requirements, too. A huge thank you to his dedicated den leader who is simply amazing at inspiring his den to work hard and accomplish more than they ever even imagined themselves. Scouting.

The yellow on your chin stands for SUNLIGHT from the Wolf Trail.
The blue on your forehead is for LOYALTY when you become a Webelos.
The red on your cheeks is for COURAGE and the hard work you and your parents did to achieve the Bear Rank.
The Purple is for PRIDE in your accomplishments
