The days have been GORGEOUS here! Everyday after school LD races to the backyard after finishing her homework to take in the joys of her playground. Her favorite item right now...the tire swing. She twirls around singing songs while the birds add her background chorus. Joy found with a tire. May we all remember to take the time to swing a little joy into our lives!

Tire swings are one of life's simple pleasures.
I grew up with a tire swing and my mother in law has one at her place, so every time we visit, my kids get to experience that simple joy.
And you cannot get them off that thing. It's amazing - they will twirl for hours.
How cute and that looks like too much fun.
My daughter loves to swing, but here a tire would be a perfect habitat for black widow spiders. I'd feel compelled to check it every single time. She gets to play on one all summer long in BC though.
I have never taken a ride in a tire swing - looks like fun!
