Sunday afternoon we greeted my parents in the arrival area of Honolulu International with leis and hugs. We are thrilled to have our first visitors to our little piece of Aloha. HS made a sign and held it proudly shouting "Aloha" to everyone who came through the doors and peering as hard as he could for his beloved Granma (who he has decided should be called 'Tutu') and Popop.
He raced to deliver the ceremonial lei for Popop and then proclaimed, "let's start our adventure!"
So, start it we have...Wii games, history walk along Hickam AFB, drive through Hospital Point, and dinners on the lanai. Ahhhh...day 1 has already been fantastic. It's great to have them share in our world.
